Mengniu Dairy Company Limited filed a Next Day Disclosure Return with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 2 October 2026, reporting continued execution of its share-repurchase programme without altering its issued‐share base.

On 2 October 2026 the company repurchased 626,000 ordinary shares on the Exchange for cancellation at prices ranging from HKD 17.42 to HKD 17.58 per share, representing 0.02 % of the 3.87 billion issued shares outstanding before the trade. The transaction cost totalled HKD 10.96 million, implying a volume-weighted average purchase price of HKD 17.51 per share.

Including this latest trade, Mengniu Dairy has bought back 2.47 million shares between 31 August and 2 October 2026 at an average price of approximately HKD 17.85, deploying about HKD 44.13 million. These shares, equal to 0.06 % of the current share capital, are pending cancellation and therefore the company’s issued-share count remains unchanged at 3,871.19 million as of the filing date.

Under the repurchase mandate approved on 5 June 2026, Mengniu Dairy is authorised to buy back up to 387.89 million shares. Cumulative repurchases since the mandate’s adoption stand at 5.41 million shares, equivalent to 0.14 % of the total shares in issue on the mandate date. Following the 2 October transaction, the company is subject to a 30-day moratorium—until 1 November 2026—during which it may not issue new shares without prior Exchange approval.

All repurchases were executed in compliance with the Main Board Listing Rules, and the company confirmed that all regulatory and corporate approvals have been obtained.
