XPENG-W Shares Surge Over 5%, Marking Near 14% Gain Over Three Sessions

XPENG-W (09868) rose more than 5% again, bringing its cumulative gain over the past three trading sessions to nearly 14%. At the time of writing, the stock was up 5.51% to HK$66.05, with a turnover of HK$1.856 billion.

The recent positive momentum follows the official launch of XPeng's first full-size new-tech flagship SUV, the GX model. The limited-time promotional price starts from 259,800 yuan. Within 12 hours of its market debut, the model secured 24,863 firm orders.

Furthermore, according to reports, an industry blogger revealed on social media that within 72 hours of the GX's launch, 20% to 25% of the orders came from entirely new customers. The average number of new orders per store reached 30 to 35 units, with store traffic increasing by 300%. Notably, 60% to 70% of the store visitors were specifically interested in the GX model.

It is also worth noting that XPeng Group is scheduled to hold a board meeting on Thursday, May 28, to consider and approve the company and its subsidiaries' unaudited first-quarter results for the period ended March 31, 2026, and their publication.
