On August 17, New Oriental's cultural tourism division unveiled promotional materials for an "Arctic Svalbard Archipelago + French Cultural and Nature Exploration Tour." Yu Minhong, Chairman of New Oriental Education & Technology Group, will personally lead the expedition, accompanied by special guests Chen Xingjia and Shi Zhan.

The Arctic journey offers two itinerary versions spanning 12 and 13 days, with tickets going on sale starting August 21. Departures are scheduled for July 28 and 29, 2027. According to a New Oriental tourism consultant cited by media reports, Yu Minhong will lead the group throughout the trip, which includes dedicated interactive sessions with participants.

Pricing varies by cabin class. For the 12-day itinerary, the entry-level three-deck Shangjue room is priced at 109,800 yuan per person, while the top-tier six-deck owner's suite costs 219,800 yuan per person. The consultant revealed that inquiries have surged since the promotional materials were released, with high-value cabin options expected to sell out first.
