Shares of YIXIN (02858) rallied more than 11% in Hong Kong trading on Tuesday. At the time of writing, the stock was up 10.98% at HK$1.415, with turnover reaching HK$76.71 million.
On August 19, the company unveiled its preliminary interim results for 2026. During the first half, total revenue climbed approximately 13.3% year-on-year to around RMB 6.2 billion. Net profit attributable to shareholders rose 28.2% to roughly RMB 704 million, while adjusted net profit increased 31.2% to approximately RMB 850 million compared with the same period last year.
In the automotive financing segment, transaction volume reached 428,000 deals during the period, up 17.7% year-on-year, with financing value hitting RMB 37 billion, a 13.2% increase. Core metrics including total revenue and adjusted net profit all posted double-digit year-on-year growth.
Notably, the fintech (SaaS) business, a strategic pillar for the company, sustained rapid expansion and became the primary growth engine driving overall performance. Revenue from this segment surged 59.5% year-on-year to nearly RMB 3 billion. Financing facilitated through the fintech platform reached RMB 26.3 billion, representing a substantial 72.2% increase year-on-year.
As of the end of June, the fintech platform had established partnerships with roughly 80 financial institutions, further enhancing the diversity of its platform solutions and expanding market penetration. The company noted in its report that as the industry shifts from a scale-driven approach to one prioritizing efficiency and compliance, fintech solutions are proving increasingly valuable in improving transaction efficiency and optimizing risk management.
