Initial figures released by Automatic Data Processing Inc in collaboration with the Stanford Digital Economy Lab indicate that average weekly private-sector employment growth in the United States stood at 9,500 jobs over the four-week period ending August 1.
This weekly figure follows the previously reported monthly change of 44,000 jobs added in July, as measured by Automatic Data Processing Inc.
Weekly data from Automatic Data Processing Inc and the Stanford Digital Economy Lab has been publicly available since October 28 of last year.
