Following receipt, consumers can also apply online for a complimentary image-based appraisal of various alcoholic products.

Today, Meituan's instant retail service, Meituan Instashopping, has announced an upgraded collaboration with China Quality Testing & Certification Co., Ltd. (CQTC).

This partnership integrates inspection and testing resources from a national-level research institute to launch a "verify before dispatch" service for premium spirits on the Meituan Premium Spirits platform.

The initial phase of this service covers the 53% ABV Feitian Moutai, where consumers can scan a code to view the product's inspection report and traceability information.

For a wide range of spirits, the Meituan Premium Spirits platform has established an online authentication channel available after purchase, allowing users to upload photos to receive a free appraisal service from CQTC.

Meituan Instashopping and CQTC plan to continuously expand their cooperation, extending the pre-shipment verification service for premium spirits and the post-purchase appraisal service to cover more varieties of alcoholic beverages and a greater number of merchants.

A representative from Meituan Premium Spirits stated that the platform conducts regular, stringent inspections of its suppliers and will permanently ban and blacklist any supplier stores found selling counterfeit goods, ensuring consumers enjoy a "worry-free instant shopping" experience.
