Liaoning Port (02880) announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2026. The company recorded an operating revenue of approximately 2.606 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 3.1%. The net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was about 359 million yuan, a significant rise of 75.87% compared to the same period last year. Basic earnings per share stood at 0.015238 yuan.

According to the announcement, the growth in net profit was driven by multiple factors. These included a steady increase in container business volume, a recovery in crude oil business volume coupled with higher storage revenue, the recognition of gains from the disposal of a subsidiary's equity, a reduction in financial expenses due to a decrease in interest-bearing debt, and the continued effects of cost-cutting and efficiency improvements. However, the increase in overall profit was partially offset by a continued decline in the gross profit margins of the bulk grain and passenger ro-ro ferry businesses.
