Prudential cancels 401,131 shares after latest buy-back

Prudential plc announced that it cancelled 401,131 ordinary shares on Jun, 08 2026, reducing its outstanding share count to 2,517,451,005.

On the same day, the insurer repurchased a further 412,092 shares on the London Stock Exchange at prices between GBP 9.514 and GBP 9.682 per share, for a total consideration of about 6.7 million Singapore dollars. These shares are scheduled to be cancelled upon settlement.

Including this latest transaction, Prudential has bought back 95,540,418 shares under the mandate approved on May, 14 2025, equivalent to 3.668 % of the shares outstanding on the mandate date. The company remains authorised to repurchase up to 262,668,701 shares in total under the programme.
