CHINA OVS PPT (02669) saw its shares climb more than 6% during the morning session, with the stock last trading up 5.94% at HK$3.565, on turnover of HK$44.4 million. The company's latest interim results showed first-half revenue reaching RMB 7.485 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 4.5%, while profit attributable to shareholders stood at RMB 701 million, down 9.04% compared to the same period last year. An interim dividend of HK$0.10 per share was declared, corresponding to a payout ratio of 41%, up from HK$0.09 per share in the prior year period.

Huatai Securities noted in a research report that the company's profit figures fell short of expectations, primarily due to pressure on revenue from value-added services and gross margins in the core property management segment. Despite these headwinds, the total value of newly contracted market projects has grown steadily year-on-year, with continued focus on urban operations and projects in Hong Kong. Looking ahead, the brokerage expects that with a low comparison base in the second half, the company's full-year net profit attributable to shareholders could remain roughly flat year-on-year. At current levels, the projected dividend yield of 6.5% for fiscal 2026 offers compelling value, supporting the maintained "Buy" rating.
