CaoCao Inc. (HKEX: 02643) disclosed that it repurchased 60,000 ordinary shares on 2 October 2026, paying an aggregate HKD 0.71 million. The shares were bought on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 11.66 to HKD 11.88, implying a volume-weighted average cost of approximately HKD 11.76 per share.
Following the transaction, issued shares (excluding treasury shares) declined marginally by 0.010 % to 579.07 million, while the company’s treasury stock balance increased to 7.36 million shares. Total issued shares remain unchanged at 586.43 million because the repurchased shares are being held in treasury and have not been cancelled.
The buy-back was executed under the repurchase mandate approved by shareholders on 8 June 2026, which authorises CaoCao Inc. to repurchase up to 58.30 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 6.70 million shares, representing 1.15 % of the company’s issued share capital as of the mandate date. In line with Hong Kong listing rules, the company is restricted from issuing, selling or transferring any shares until 1 November 2026—30 days after the latest repurchase.
