The advertising technology firm Cardlytics (Nasdaq: CDLX) has announced it will release its financial results for the second quarter after the market closes on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
A conference call to discuss the earnings and business updates is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the same day.
Financial Outlook for Q2
Based on the guidance provided alongside its first-quarter report, the company has set clear expectations for the second quarter.
It anticipates revenue to be between $35 million and $40 million, with billings projected in the range of $61 million to $67 million.
Adjusted contribution profit is forecasted to be between $20 million and $23 million, while adjusted EBITDA is expected to range from a loss of $2.7 million to a profit of $1.3 million.
This guidance implies an approximate 10% sequential increase in billings and roughly a 9% sequential growth in both revenue and contribution profit, compared to the first quarter's results excluding the divested Bridg business.
Management's Strategic Focus
The company's Chief Executive Officer, Amit Gupta, has described 2026 as a "year of execution," noting that the supply side has stabilized and existing financial institution partners are actively advancing their growth initiatives.
The first quarter performance showed strength in the UK business, where revenue grew by more than 21% year-over-year.
Adjusted EBITDA turned positive, and operating expenses decreased by 38% compared to the prior year period.
Recent Challenges Faced
The company has encountered significant headwinds, including the loss of a major partner, Bank of America, in March 2026.
This event contributed to a 37% year-over-year decline in first-quarter billings to $58.1 million and a 39% drop in revenue to $34.3 million.
Average revenue per user also fell by 21.3% to $0.10.
Analyst estimates suggest a second-quarter loss per share of approximately $2.30.
In May of this year, the company completed a 1-for-10 reverse stock split.
