Stock Track | Regal Rexnord Plummets 12.25% Intraday as Q2 Revenue Miss and Unchanged Guidance Disappoint

Shares of Regal Rexnord Corporation (RRX) plummeted 12.25% intraday on Wednesday, extending a sharp pre-market sell-off after the company's second-quarter revenue fell short of Wall Street expectations and its full-year outlook remained unchanged.

While adjusted earnings per share of $2.99 handily beat the consensus estimate of $2.58, quarterly sales came in at $1.558 billion, missing the $1.579 billion forecast. The top-line shortfall, particularly an organic decline in the Power Efficiency Solutions segment due to weakness in residential HVAC and pool markets, raised concerns about near-term demand momentum. Management narrowed its full-year adjusted EPS guidance to $10.35–$10.85 but kept the midpoint at $10.60, incorporating tariff refund benefits of $0.57 per share, while holding its revenue outlook steady. The lack of an upward revision despite an 8.8% increase in daily orders fueled investor disappointment and heavy selling pressure.
