Xiong'an New Area disclosed its latest achievements in building a national-level intellectual property protection center during a press conference held on the morning of August 5. The center, officially approved by the China National Intellectual Property Administration on June 22, is currently being set up in an orderly manner.
Once operational, the approval cycle for invention patents of key relocated enterprises will be reduced from the national average of 15 months to less than 3 months, shortening the average patent grant time for related industries by 70%. The center will focus on the new-generation information technology and new materials industries, offering "one-stop" services such as fast patent pre-examination, quick rights confirmation, and rapid rights protection.
Additionally, the Intellectual Property Tribunal of the Xiong'an Intermediate People's Court has concluded 1,117 cases since its establishment. The Xiong'an branch of the People's Procuratorate has developed a tripartite protection model centered on "case handling, enterprise services, and collaborative governance." The Xiong'an National Innovation Center has released the nation's first "seven-dimensional multimodal intellectual property valuation and pricing system," transitioning from static to dynamic pricing for intellectual property.
Leveraging the approval of the national-level protection center, Xiong'an New Area aims to further streamline the entire chain of intellectual property protection, providing robust support for building a new-era innovation hub and a model of high-quality development.
