Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd. (00991) has announced that on October 9, 2026, it entered into a capital increase agreement with China Datang Corporation and Datang Nuclear Power Company.

Under the agreement, both Datang Power and China Datang Corporation agreed to increase the registered capital of Datang Nuclear Power Company in cash. Based on their respective shareholding ratios in Datang Nuclear Power Company, Datang Power agreed to inject RMB 628 million, while China Datang Corporation agreed to inject RMB 942 million.

Following the completion of this capital increase, Datang Power's cumulative capital contribution to Datang Nuclear Power Company will reach RMB 2.514 billion, with its total shareholding ratio remaining at 40%. China Datang Corporation's cumulative contribution will reach RMB 3.771 billion, maintaining its 60% stake.

Datang Nuclear Power Company was established on October 17, 2013. It is primarily engaged in technology development, project investment, technical services and management in the nuclear power and related sectors. As of the date of this announcement, its shareholding structure remains 60% held by China Datang Corporation and 40% held by Datang Power.

The implementation of the capital increase agreement and the injections by both Datang Power and China Datang Corporation will further enhance Datang Nuclear Power Company's capital adequacy ratio, thereby meeting its funding needs for development and investment project construction, strengthening its core business capabilities, improving its risk resistance, and effectively advancing the construction of related nuclear power projects, ultimately maximizing shareholder value.
