U-PRESID CHINA (00220) announced its interim results for the first half of 2026, reporting revenue of RMB 17.321 billion, an increase of 1.37% year-on-year. Profit attributable to equity holders of the company reached RMB 1.402 billion, up 8.99% compared to the same period last year, with basic earnings per share of RMB 32.47 cents.

In the People's Republic of China, the macroeconomy is undergoing a critical transition period, shifting from old to new growth drivers and pursuing high-quality development, presenting a dynamic balance characterized by "initial growth followed by a slowdown, with structural divergence." In the first half of 2026, China's gross domestic product (GDP) is estimated to have grown by 4.7% year-on-year, maintaining overall operations within a reasonable range and demonstrating strong development resilience.
