The Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce, along with the Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Fujian Provincial Department of Finance, has announced an expansion of the 2026 smart home product purchase subsidy program to further unlock consumer potential in the sector.
Under the new guidelines, a 15% subsidy will be granted based on the final selling price after deducting all promotional discounts. Each individual can receive a subsidy for one unit per product category, with a maximum cap of 1,500 yuan per item.
Expanded Subsidy Categories
Building on the existing subsidy list, the program now includes support for the following new product categories:
Five new products have been added, including digital cameras (including action cameras), smart range hoods, smart gas stoves (including integrated cooktops), smart dishwashers, and smart clothes dryers.
The coverage of the existing smart massage chair category has been optimized, with smart sofas now also included within its subsidy scope.
Subsidy Standards
For individual consumers purchasing any of the five newly added smart home products, a 15% subsidy will be provided based on the final selling price after all discounts, with a limit of one unit per person per product category and a maximum subsidy of 1,500 yuan per item.
For individual consumers purchasing a smart massage chair (including smart sofas), a 15% subsidy will be provided based on the final selling price after all discounts. Each person can receive a subsidy for one unit in this category, but cannot claim subsidies for both a smart massage chair and a smart sofa. The subsidy is capped at 1,500 yuan per item.
This announcement takes effect immediately upon release and remains valid until December 31, 2026.
