On August 7, SHENZHEN INT'L (00152.HK) issued a statement forecasting a net loss attributable to shareholders of between HK$190 million and HK$240 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026, compared to a net profit of approximately HK$490 million in the same period last year.
The group's shift from profit to loss is primarily driven by fair value losses on certain investment properties, a swing to a loss at its 50%-owned associate company during the period, and the absence of any land preparation and development profits or gains from asset injection into the fund.
