Geekplus-W (02590) shares rose nearly 5%, trading 3.64% higher at HK$9.97 as of the time of writing, with a turnover of HK$28.7928 million.

On the news front, Geekplus-W issued an announcement stating that the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) updated its Covered List on July 28, 2026, prohibiting the import, marketing, or sale of foreign-manufactured advanced robotics equipment and grid-connected power inverters in the United States. In response to this latest policy change, the board of directors hereby announces: All of the group's autonomous mobile robot (AMR) models currently sold in the United States have obtained valid FCC certification and are therefore not subject to the relevant ban. The group's product sales, delivery, and operational activities in the United States remain fully operational and have not been affected in any way. The ban will not have any material adverse impact on the group's business, operations, or financial condition.

The announcement states that the company continues to advance its long-term strategy of localizing manufacturing, supply chains, research and development, and product testing. The board is pleased to announce that the company's new U.S.-based production facility will commence operations in due course. The company will ensure that all subsequent products continue to comply with U.S. regulatory standards, maintaining long-term market access and stable business operations, thereby demonstrating its firm commitment to serving global customers.
