According to data, the cumulative volume of goods transported by national railways in the first half of the year reached 2.015 billion tonnes, representing a year-on-year increase of 1.8%.
This year, the introduction of "passenger train-style" express freight services has enhanced the quality and efficiency of railway logistics. These benchmark services can reach maximum speeds of 120 kilometers per hour, precisely meeting the demands for fast logistics in sectors such as e-commerce and cold chain, thereby strongly supporting the construction of a national integrated market.
During the first half of the year, the China Multimodal Transport Development Alliance was established, and the scope of integrated "one-stop" services for rail-water and rail-road intermodal transport expanded. The total logistics volume for multimodal transport, with railway trunk line transport as the main component, increased by 87.9% year-on-year.
The 95306 platform has attracted over 200,000 trucks to register. Truck drivers can now receive orders directly from railway services without the need for third-party logistics companies to assign tasks.
In the first half of the year, the total volume for "door-to-door" integrated logistics contracts reached 1.194 billion tonnes, helping clients reduce costs and improve efficiency. The China-Europe Railway Express operated a total of 11,178 trips, a year-on-year increase of 20%, facilitating the smooth flow of both domestic and international economic cycles.
