Kunlun Energy executes HK$10.00 million share buyback on 8 July; total repurchases under 2026 mandate reach 20.19 million shares

Kunlun Energy Company Limited reported that it repurchased 1.50 million ordinary shares on 8 July 2026 via on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HK$6.61 and HK$6.70 per share. The transaction, costing HK$10.00 million, equals 0.0173% of the group’s 8.64 billion issued shares.

Since the current buy-back mandate was approved on 28 May 2026, the company has acquired an aggregate 20.19 million shares—representing 0.23% of the issued share base on the mandate date—against an authorisation to repurchase up to 865.88 million shares.

Between 16 June and 8 July, Kunlun Energy bought a cumulative 13.89 million shares that are still pending cancellation. These purchases were made at a volume-weighted average cost of HK$6.60 per share, involving total cash outlays of approximately HK$91.75 million.

The latest repurchase triggers a 30-day moratorium, restricting the issuance of new shares or disposal of treasury shares until 8 August 2026. The company confirmed all transactions were conducted in accordance with Hong Kong Listing Rules.
