Bank of Tianjin Receives Regulatory Approval for Chief Compliance Officer Appointment

The Tianjin Financial Regulatory Bureau has approved the qualification of Ms. Dong Xiaodong as Chief Compliance Officer of Bank of Tianjin Co., Ltd. (Bank of Tianjin), according to an announcement dated 31 July 2026.

The green light, formally granted under document “Jin Jin Fu [2026] No.193,” activates Ms. Dong’s appointment effective 29 July 2026. Her nomination was originally disclosed on 30 March 2026, pending regulatory clearance.

Corporate governance details released alongside the approval show Bank of Tianjin’s board configuration as of the announcement date: • Executive Directors: Yu Jianzhong (Chairman), Wu Hongtao, Zheng Ke, and Dong Xiaodong. • Non-executive Directors: Dong Guangpei, Peng Chong, Alistair Marshall Bulloch, Xing Jianhua, Wang Shunlong, and Wang Shanjun. • Independent Non-executive Directors: Zeng Jianhua, Lu Jianzhong, Gu Zhaoyang, Feng Jinghua, Peng Bing, and Han Liang.

The bank reiterated that it is incorporated in the People’s Republic of China and is not an authorised institution under Hong Kong’s Banking Ordinance, therefore it operates outside the supervision of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
