On May 29, OCBC Wing Hang Bank (Hong Kong) announced senior management appointments for its corporate banking and risk management functions. Johnny Wai, General Manager of Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions at OCBC Hong Kong, will formally retire on December 1, 2026, after serving the bank for over a decade. Angus Tsang, the current Chief Risk Officer, will succeed Johnny Wai, taking up the role of Head of Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions at OCBC Hong Kong effective November 16, 2026. To ensure a smooth transition, Angus Tsang will concurrently assume the position of Deputy Head of Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions starting September 1, 2026.

Public information shows that prior to joining OCBC, Angus Tsang held roles in wholesale banking risk management at HSBC and Hang Seng Bank. OCBC stated that before joining its Hong Kong operations, Angus Tsang had accumulated nearly 20 years of extensive experience in corporate banking and risk management. He joined the bank in 2022 as Chief Risk Officer. During his tenure, he has driven significant enhancements in credit processes and systems, further strengthening integration and alignment with the group's standards and frameworks. By enabling a more comprehensive cross-group customer view and improving approval capabilities, he has enhanced approval efficiency and optimized the quality, consistency, and overall effectiveness of credit decisions.

Following Angus Tsang's new appointment, Stanley Szeto will assume the role of Chief Risk Officer at OCBC Hong Kong starting September 1, 2026. Stanley Szeto joined OCBC in 2007 and has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic vision within the corporate banking business.
