Elastic N.V. (ESTC) experienced a significant after-hours plunge of 11.42% following the release of its fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 financial results.

The stock's sharp decline appears to be driven by investor reaction to the company's earnings report, which showed a widening GAAP operating loss of $16 million for the quarter. While Elastic reported revenue growth of 16% year-over-year to $451 million and a swing to GAAP diluted EPS of $4.14 from a previous loss, the expanded operating loss likely disappointed market participants who were monitoring the company's profitability metrics.

Other financial highlights from the report included a 20% increase in current remaining performance obligations to $1.2 billion and a 28% rise in total remaining performance obligations to $2 billion. The company also reported over 1,720 customers with annual contract value above $100,000 and a net expansion rate of approximately 112%. Despite these positive indicators, the market's focus on the widening operating loss triggered the after-hours selloff.
