WuXi AppTec repurchases 1.02 million A-shares for RMB 100.00 million, trimming free float by 0.04%

On 17 June 2026, WuXi AppTec Co., Ltd. (WuXi AppTec, 02359) executed an on-market repurchase of 1,021,172 A-shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, according to the company’s Next Day Disclosure Return filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

• Transaction details – Repurchase venue: Shanghai Stock Exchange – Shares bought: 1,021,172 A-shares, to be held as treasury stock – Price range: RMB 96.57 to RMB 98.69 per share – Volume-weighted average price: approximately RMB 97.93 per share – Total consideration: RMB 100.00 million

• Impact on share capital – Issued shares (excluding treasury) before repurchase: 2,469.20 million – Reduction in issued shares: 1.02 million, equivalent to 0.04 % of the prior outstanding total – Issued shares (excluding treasury) after repurchase: 2,468.18 million – Treasury share balance increased from 4.08 million to 5.10 million shares

• Purpose and compliance – The repurchased shares are earmarked for the company’s employee stock ownership plan, as stated in the 9 June 2026 announcement. – The board confirmed that the transaction was conducted under its authorised mandate and complied with all applicable listing rules and domestic regulations.

Following the buyback, WuXi AppTec enters a 30-day moratorium during which it may not issue new shares or dispose of treasury shares without prior exchange approval, in line with Main Board Rule 10.06(3)(a).
