ZIJIN GOLD INTL (02259) has released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, showcasing a significant leap in financial performance.
The group recorded revenue of $3.987 billion, a 99.67% increase year-on-year. Profit attributable to owners of the parent stood at $1.451 billion, surging 178.83% compared to the same period last year. Basic earnings per share reached $0.54, and the board declared an interim dividend of HK$1.5 per share.
In terms of mine operations, the group's gold production from mines totaled approximately 27.3 tonnes during the first half of 2026. Controlled mines contributed about 26.0 tonnes, representing a roughly 37% year-on-year growth. Gold sales volume amounted to approximately 26.1 tonnes, with an average selling price of around $4,643 per ounce.
Mature assets performed steadily overall, with the Buriticá Gold Mine, Rosebel Gold Mine, Left Bank Gold Mine, and Aurora Gold Mine all achieving year-on-year production increases. Meanwhile, the Ghana Akyem Gold Mine, acquired in April 2025, and the Kazakhstan Raygorodok Gold Mine, acquired in October 2025, have been fully integrated into the group's operational system, serving as key drivers of both production and profit growth.
