COME SURE GROUP (00794) has issued a profit alert, announcing that the group expects to record a net loss of approximately HK$7.5 million for the financial year ending March 31, 2026.

This represents a significant shift from the previous year's performance, as the group reported a net profit of about HK$2.6 million for the financial year ended March 31, 2025.

Based on information currently available to the board, the anticipated net loss for the 2026 financial year, compared to the prior year's profit, is primarily attributed to two key factors.

Firstly, there is an absence of an income tax credit from previous years, which amounted to approximately HK$8.3 million in the 2025 financial year.

Secondly, the group expects to record a foreign exchange loss of around HK$1.8 million for the 2026 financial year, a stark contrast to the foreign exchange gain of about HK$2.2 million recorded in the 2025 financial year.
