Raffles Education issues 1.56 million new shares after latest bond conversion

Raffles Education Limited (NR7) has issued 1,556,461 new ordinary shares at a conversion price of SGD 0.065 each after bondholders converted SGD 101,170 in principal amount of the company’s outstanding convertible bonds on July 6, 2026.

The exercise increases the group’s issued share capital to 1,819,235,934 shares from 1,817,679,473 previously. Concurrently, the outstanding principal of the convertible bonds fell to about SGD 38.38 million from SGD 38.49 million.

The new shares will be listed and start trading on the Singapore Exchange Mainboard from 9:00 a.m. on July 9, 2026, the company said.

The bonds were originally issued under a rights issue and placement completed in August 2022.
