AK Medical Holdings Limited announced on 7 June 2026 that its board intends to exercise the general share repurchase mandate approved at the 18 June 2025 AGM, authorising the repurchase of up to 112.27 million shares, equivalent to 10% of the company’s issued share capital at that date.

The board has raised the financial envelope for the programme from the HK$150.00 million disclosed on 2 February 2026 to HK$500.00 million. Repurchases will be carried out on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange up to the mandate’s expiry on 17 June 2026 and will be funded entirely from internal resources. All bought-back shares will be held in treasury rather than cancelled.

As of 5 June 2026 the company had already repurchased 14.46 million shares for a total consideration of HK$87.65 million under the same mandate.

Management stated that the enlarged buy-back reflects confidence in the group’s business outlook and confirmed that all transactions will observe the Listing Rules, the Codes on Takeovers and Share Buy-backs, the Companies Act of the Cayman Islands and the company’s articles of association.

The board added that future repurchases remain subject to market conditions and will be executed without reducing the public float below the minimum level prescribed by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
