Thakral Corporation Ltd announced on Apr, 08 2026 that it has sold and transferred 2.37 million treasury shares at 1.80 Singapore dollars apiece via an off-market married deal, securing gross proceeds of about 4.26 million Singapore dollars.

The block, equal to roughly 1.89% of the company’s existing issued share capital, was purchased by Lion Global Investors (1.10 million shares) and ICH Synergrowth Fund (1.27 million shares) through SAC Capital. The price represented a 0.98% discount to the volume-weighted average price of 1.8178 Singapore dollars per share recorded on the Singapore Exchange on the same day.

Thakral relied on its general share issue mandate approved by shareholders on Apr, 30 2025, so no additional shareholder approval was required.

After estimated expenses of about 0.05 million Singapore dollars, net proceeds of approximately 4.21 million Singapore dollars will be directed entirely to working-capital needs and growth initiatives in the group’s Lifestyle and Investment segments.

The share sale lifts the company’s issued share base to 127.87 million shares, eliminates all treasury shares and does not result in any change of control.
