Lygend Resources Reports Stable Operations Following Indonesian Nickel Benchmark Price Policy Change

Lygend Resources & Technology Co., Ltd. issued a voluntary business update on 15 April 2026, addressing market concerns over recent changes to Indonesia’s nickel ore benchmark pricing policy.

The Board affirmed that all production and operational activities remain normal across business segments. Management noted that the Group continuously evaluates macro-policy developments and has instituted diversified procurement, production and sales measures to mitigate potential risks and maintain operational stability.

Regarding the Obi Project—the Group’s flagship joint venture in Indonesia—the company highlighted its longstanding partnership with Indonesian stakeholders. Both parties are actively monitoring potential risk factors associated with the new pricing policy and are prepared to implement timely adjustments to safeguard project performance.

The announcement reiterated that the company’s risk-management framework combines balanced equity participation with operational synergies, underpinned by “mutual trust and shared success.”
