YTO International Express Posts Wider First-Half Loss Despite 54% Revenue Surge

YTO INTL EXP (06123) has announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, revealing a loss attributable to equity shareholders of HK$61.691 million, representing a 2.1% widening from the same period last year.

Despite the increased loss, the company reported revenue of HK$2.184 billion, a substantial 54.4% growth year-on-year. The basic loss per share stood at HK$0.1476.

The expansion in the loss attributable to equity shareholders was primarily driven by higher administrative expenses, according to the company's statement. To accelerate its international expansion strategy, the group has been intensifying efforts to construct global express delivery hub facilities and operational networks, with the aim of building a secure, smooth, convenient, efficient, sustainable, autonomous, and controllable logistics supply chain system connecting China with the world.

During the reporting period, the group has also stepped up investment in recruiting and developing international talent, establishing logistics hubs in key regions, countries, and strategic markets, while strengthening its command over core logistics infrastructure and resources. Additionally, the company is advancing the digital-to-intelligent transformation, reinforcing technology-driven innovation, and continuously increasing spending on technology research and development to enhance its overall competitive edge.
