Numans Health Food Holdings Company Limited released a profit warning on 23 April 2026, flagging a sharp earnings deterioration for the financial year ended 31 December 2025 (FY2025).

Based on unaudited consolidated management accounts, profit after tax for FY2025 is expected to be “not more than” approximately RMB6.00 million, versus RMB74.90 million a year earlier—an estimated year-on-year decline of roughly 92%.

Management attributed the projected drop to three factors: 1. A marked reduction in revenue amid a broader consumption downgrade in the PRC economy. 2. Intensified competition from domestically produced DHA products. 3. An inventory impairment of about RMB19.30 million booked during the period.

The figures are subject to potential adjustments, as the FY2025 results have yet to be reviewed by the Board’s audit committee. The company plans to publish its full-year results before the end of April 2026.

Numans cautioned shareholders and prospective investors to exercise vigilance when trading its shares.
