GD-Hong Kong Holdings (01396) rose more than 6%. As of the time of writing, the stock was up 6.08% to HK$17.61, with a turnover of HK$78.3819 million.

On the news front, GD-Hong Kong Holdings recently announced that its stock abbreviation will be changed to "GD-Hong Kong Intelligent Computing," effective May 22. Notably, this renaming is an inevitable outcome of the company's orderly advancement of its strategic transformation. In October last year, following the announcement of the acquisition of Tiandun Data, GD-Hong Kong Holdings completed a substantive transformation into a scarce asset-based AI computing power infrastructure platform.

The company's net profit reversed from a significant loss of approximately RMB 2.0413 billion in the 2024 fiscal year to a net profit attributable to the parent company of about RMB 73 million in the 2025 fiscal year. The financial report shows that Tiandun Data contributed approximately RMB 616.7 million in revenue within just over two months after consolidation, accounting for 61.5% of the group's total revenue.

It is reported that, as of now, Tiandun Data, under GD-Hong Kong Intelligent Computing, has delivered and stably operates an FP16 dense computing power scale exceeding 42,000 PFLOPS, with over 10,000 high-power cabinet resources in operation. The rack utilization rate remains stable above 95%, and its business footprint covers multiple core regions across China and parts of Southeast Asia. The total value of stable billed computing power orders in hand exceeds RMB 15 billion and is still growing rapidly, sufficient to support stable performance growth over the next 3 to 5 years, firmly placing it in the first tier of domestic intelligent computing service providers.
