Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (02208) rose more than 4%, reaching an increase of 4.19% to HK$16.16 at the time of writing, with a turnover of HK$331 million. Market reports indicate that SpaceX recently arranged visits for potential major investors to its facilities in California and Texas to showcase its operations. The company has confidentially submitted an application for an initial public offering, aiming to raise up to $750 billion at a valuation exceeding $2 trillion. According to sources familiar with the matter, SpaceX is expected to formally file its IPO application in late May, with pricing anticipated around the week of June 15. Public information shows that Goldwind utilizes a "wind power + green hydrogen + biomass" approach to produce green methanol, which is then cracked into liquid oxygen methane rocket fuel—used in Blue Arrow Aerospace's Zhuque-3 rocket. This enables an autonomous, zero-carbon, low-cost fuel supply chain, offering long-term advantages over SpaceX's liquid oxygen and kerosene approach. Goldwind holds a 4.14% stake in Blue Arrow Aerospace through a subsidiary. Expectations for Blue Arrow's IPO have been reinforced by positive sentiment surrounding SpaceX's listing, leading to a notable appreciation in the equity value.
