Samsung Electronics, based in South Korea, announced on Thursday that it will unveil the newest addition to its Galaxy S26 smartphone series in the coming week. The tech giant confirmed the launch event will be streamed online on August 27, without directly naming the specific model.
While Samsung has remained tight-lipped about the product’s official title, industry speculation suggests the forthcoming device will be the Galaxy S26 FE. According to leaked details, this model is set to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, offering a vibrant visual experience.
The smartphone is anticipated to run on Samsung’s own Exynos 2500 mobile application processor, with battery life extending up to 50 hours on a single charge. This marks a significant improvement of roughly 7.5 hours over the previous Galaxy S25 FE model.
For photography enthusiasts, the rear camera setup is expected to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, promising versatile shooting capabilities across various scenarios.
