NETJOY issues profit warning, forecasting RMB23.00–28.00 million net loss for 1H 2025

NETJOY Holdings Limited announced a profit warning for the six months ended 30 June 2025, projecting a net loss of approximately RMB23.00 million to RMB28.00 million. This contrasts sharply with the RMB23.85 million net profit recorded in the same period of 2024, marking a year-on-year swing into the red.

The Board attributes the anticipated downturn to intensified competition in China’s digital marketing sector and evolving market demand. Advertisers have reportedly become more cautious with budget allocations, while traffic acquisition costs from major media platforms remain elevated. These factors have compressed the gross-profit margin of NETJOY’s core intelligent marketing solutions business, leading to lower gross profit than in the prior-year period.

Additionally, the Group stepped up research and development spending during the period to bolster long-term competitiveness, further weighing on short-term profitability.

Figures disclosed are based on the Group’s unaudited management accounts and may be adjusted when the interim results are finalized. NETJOY plans to release its full interim results for 1H 2025 on 24 July 2026.

The company advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution in dealing in its shares pending the official results announcement.
