First Resources Ltd (EB5.SI) saw its stock price surge 9.55% during Friday's intraday trading session.
The significant price movement follows the company's release of strong full-year and second-half 2025 financial results. For the fiscal year, the palm oil plantation company reported sales of USD 1.7 billion, a 59.9% year-over-year increase, with gross profit rising 56.1% to USD 695.7 million. Notably, attributable profit for the second half of 2025 jumped 44% to $204.7 million, while sales for the same period climbed 70% to $987.2 million, significantly exceeding analyst estimates.
Further bolstering investor sentiment, First Resources revised its dividend policy, committing to distribute up to 60% of its underlying net profit to shareholders going forward. The company also proposed a final dividend of 10.20 Singapore cents per share, a substantial increase from the 6.3 cents paid a year earlier, signaling a strong commitment to shareholder returns.
