A lush green expanse has unfurled across the Wangguan Yellow River Wetland in the Hubin District of Sanmenxia City, Henan Province.
Every July, following the water and sediment regulation operations of the Sanmenxia Water Control Project, the once-exposed riverbed in the reservoir area becomes blanketed with dense vegetation.
This sprawling "grassland landscape," stretching for several kilometers, creates a picturesque ecological scene featuring thriving greenery, grazing cattle and sheep, and soaring egrets.
