Including this latest transaction, the company has bought back 27.20 million shares between 18 May and 2 June 2026. All 27.20 million shares are designated for cancellation but had not yet been cancelled as at the reporting date. Upon cancellation, the issued share base would fall to about 3.85 billion shares, reflecting a 0.70 % reduction.
The repurchases form part of a mandate approved on 30 June 2025 that authorises Man Wah to buy back up to 387.81 million shares (10 % of the issued share capital at that time). After the latest round, 360.60 million shares—equivalent to roughly 9.30 % of current issued capital—remain available under the mandate.
Under Hong Kong listing rules, Man Wah is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares until 2 July 2026 following the recent repurchase activity. The company confirmed that all buy-backs complied with the applicable regulations and that no material changes have occurred to the explanatory statement filed with the Exchange.
