Zhongyu Energy Holdings Limited disclosed a share buy-back on 5 May 2026, purchasing 1.00 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The repurchase was executed at prices ranging between HKD 2.76 and HKD 2.80 per share, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 2.77 per share. Total cash consideration amounted to HKD 2.77 million.
Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) decreased by 0.04 % to 2.73 billion shares, while treasury shares increased to 18.50 million. The aggregate number of shares in issue, including treasury shares, remains 2.75 billion.
The buy-back forms part of the general mandate approved on 2 June 2025, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 277.18 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 18.50 million shares, equivalent to 0.67 % of the issued share base on the mandate date.
Management confirmed that the transaction complied with all relevant Hong Kong listing rules and regulatory requirements. A moratorium on new share issues or treasury share sales is in place until 4 May 2026, pursuant to the exchange’s rules.
