SHENGHUI CLEAN (02521) has announced a cooperation agreement with the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (known as the "Deep Qingyuan Institute" or "深清院"), under which the two parties will jointly establish the SHENGHUI CLEAN Group Holdings Limited – Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School Industrial Embodied Intelligence Joint Innovation Center.

According to the agreement, signed on July 31, 2026, the Innovation Center will focus on research and development (R&D) for industrial embodied intelligence platforms, AI large models for the water industry, and key requirements for digitalization and automation in the water sector. Specific research topics or projects will be jointly determined by SHENGHUI CLEAN and the Deep Qingyuan Institute upon signing relevant R&D contracts.

The center will also provide technical support and consulting services to SHENGHUI CLEAN in areas such as R&D, technology commercialization, manufacturing, and sales. Collaboration will extend to internal and external resources, including joint applications for national, provincial, and municipal research projects, talent development and exchange programs, and other forms of cooperation such as organizing academic and technical exchanges within the industry.

Commercialization of scientific and technological achievements will be a key focus, with the parties pooling industrial and capital resources to support the commercialization of R&D outcomes. Funding for the Innovation Center will be provided by SHENGHUI CLEAN, with the amount to be determined when the company enters into a technology cooperation agreement with the Deep Qingyuan Institute. The institute will supply personnel, technical expertise, and be responsible for securing the center's premises.

The Deep Qingyuan Institute is a public institution jointly established by the Shenzhen Municipal Government and Tsinghua University, dedicated to building a globally influential technology innovation incubation system. The board of SHENGHUI CLEAN believes that the cooperation agreement is based on normal commercial terms, is fair and reasonable, and aligns with the overall interests of the company and its shareholders.
