UBTECH ROBOTICS' stock soared 5.16% during intraday trading on Friday, driven by significant positive developments in its commercialization strategy and a key industrial partnership.
The surge follows the company's official launch of its consumer-grade humanoid robot brand UWORLD, marking the full-scale initiation of its strategy to enter the consumer market. Additionally, UBTECH's strategic cooperation agreement with Hitachi (China) has progressed to a substantive verification phase, with Hitachi introducing UBTECH's industrial-grade humanoid robot Walker S2 for on-site operational testing.
Financial performance has further bolstered market confidence. The company reported that revenue from its full-size embodied intelligent humanoid robot products and solutions surged from RMB 35.6 million to RMB 821 million, representing year-over-year growth exceeding 22 times, with cumulative sales reaching 1,079 units. The combination of the new consumer brand debut and concrete progress in its industrial collaboration has collectively fueled optimism regarding the company's commercial trajectory.
