Taiga Building Products reports Singapore$9.0 million Q1 profit on Singapore$349.2 million revenue

Taiga Building Products Ltd. released its unaudited results for the three months ended Mar, 31 2026, posting sales of about Singapore$349.2 million, down from Singapore$399.9 million a year earlier.

Gross margin came in at around Singapore$37.5 million on cost of sales of Singapore$311.7 million. Total distribution, selling, administration and other expenses amounted to roughly Singapore$24.6 million, while finance costs were about Singapore$1.1 million.

Earnings before income tax totalled Singapore$12.9 million. After an income tax expense of approximately Singapore$3.9 million, net earnings stood at Singapore$9.0 million, compared with Singapore$9.8 million in the prior-year period. Basic and diluted earnings per share were Singapore$0.08 on 107.945 million weighted-average shares outstanding.

As of Mar, 31 2026, Taiga held cash and cash equivalents of about Singapore$67.3 million and had drawn Singapore$68.2 million on its Singapore$250 million revolving credit facility. Inventories totalled approximately Singapore$191.2 million, while total assets and shareholders’ equity were Singapore$602.8 million and Singapore$318.3 million respectively.

Geographically, revenue from Canada represented 85.9 % of the quarter’s total at Singapore$299.9 million, with the United States contributing 14.1 % or Singapore$49.3 million.

The financial statements were authorised for issue on May, 08 2026 and have not been reviewed by the Company’s external auditor.
