Singapore Exchange Launches Ninth SGX Orb Awards, Adds Category on Shareholder Value

Singapore Exchange Limited on Jul, 7 2026 opened submissions for the ninth SGX Orb Awards, an annual programme that honours outstanding financial journalism and content.

The 2026 edition introduces a special category titled “The Value Equation,” focused on work that explains how listed companies create and unlock shareholder value within Singapore’s equity market.

Existing awards remain in place: Story of the Year, The Hidden Gem, An Experiential Treat and #TheGoTo, recognising excellence across print, broadcast and digital formats that enhance market understanding and investor education.

Entries can be submitted via www.sgx.com/sgx-orb-awards. An independent judging panel will evaluate the submissions, while the public will be invited to nominate and vote for shortlisted works. Winners in all five categories will be announced in late September 2026.
