Global Education Firm Unveils 2026 Adobe Certified Professional World Champions

The global education company Pearson PLC has recently announced the winners of its annual Certiport Adobe Certified Professional World Championship. Now in its thirteenth year, this competition is a major event in the global youth design field, designed to discover and recognize the next generation of design professionals.

This year's world finals were held from July 26 to 29 in Anaheim, California, USA. A total of 56 finalists from 27 countries gathered, all of whom had previously passed certification exams in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign and won their respective national or regional selection rounds.

After intense competition, Lulu Emanuele from the United States claimed the overall world champion title. Furtini Baldesin from Brazil and Muhammad Fawwaz Haiqal Bin Mohd Fuaad from Malaysia secured the first and second runner-up positions, respectively.

Laura Peterson, Managing Director of the Professional Assessment division at Pearson PLC, stated that earning Adobe certification and participating in this event helps students build confidence, master essential skills, and establish a solid foundation for their careers. The competition offers participants the chance to apply technical and creative skills in real-world scenarios, aiding their preparation for future professions.

Reasons for a limited number of global winners

The prize pool for the event is substantial, with the champion receiving a cash prize of $8,000, the first runner-up taking home $4,000, and the second runner-up earning $2,000.
