Starting August 20 through September 5, Hefei Xinqiao International Airport is rolling out a free shuttle bus service designed to simplify travel for students arriving in the city. The "Warm Welcome, Airport Assistance" program provides direct transportation from the terminal to university campuses, ensuring a smooth start to the new semester.

Newly enrolled students can take advantage of this service with up to two accompanying parents or guardians. All shuttle departures require reservations to be made at least 24 hours in advance — for instance, the August 20 run must be booked by 4:30 PM on August 19 — and seats are limited, so availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students must register by scanning a QR code with their WeChat app and submitting accurate personal details. Upon boarding, passengers are required to present their student ID, a new enrollment admission letter, or a campus card for returning students, and complete a verification process at the designated service point before departure.

The complimentary shuttle operates on specific dates: August 20, August 27, August 31, and September 4 through September 5, with multiple departure times available each day to accommodate varying flight arrivals.
