On August 20th, in Zhijiang, Hunan Province, French youth Marcus Detrez, Bai Shijie, and Chinese youth Zhong Haosong once again donated nearly 3,000 pages of archival documents to China, continuing their commitment to preserving historical truth. The three young men, in an exclusive interview, stated that their future goal is to find more like-minded individuals worldwide to raise their voices, turning the global call for peace into a powerful echo.

Addressing accusations of seeking attention, the trio firmly denied such claims, emphasizing they have never monetized their efforts through traffic or online influence. They asserted, "We have never accepted a single advertisement or promoted any product; our detractors simply operate on a different wavelength." Their actions, they insist, are driven solely by a moral imperative to honor history.

The origins of this mission trace back to 2021, when Marcus discovered 618 photographs in his attic, left behind by his grandfather. These images chillingly documented the atrocities committed by Japanese invaders during the war. Tragically, Marcus's grandfather lost two of his children during the conflict, adding a deeply personal layer to the historical record.

In 2023, Marcus, alongside Bai Shijie and Zhong Haosong, made the decision to return these photographs to China. Their journey, however, has been fraught with hardship. Over the past three years, the trio has endured online harassment, job losses, and the closure of their company, all while personally funding their efforts with over 3.8 million yuan to ensure these invaluable historical materials found their way home.
