The significant pre-market gain was driven by the company reporting quarterly adjusted earnings that significantly exceeded Wall Street expectations. DaVita posted adjusted earnings per share of $2.87 for the quarter ended March 31, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $2.32. Revenue for the quarter climbed to $3.42 billion, also surpassing the market expectation of $3.36 billion.
Furthermore, DaVita raised its full-year 2026 adjusted earnings per share guidance to a range of $14.10 to $15.20, up from its previous outlook of $13.60 to $15.00. The company cited strong and steady demand for its kidney dialysis services and operational execution as key drivers for the improved financial performance and outlook.
