Stock Track | Roblox Soars 5.02% Intraday as Strong User Growth Outweighs Guidance Cut

Roblox Corporation's stock surged 5.02% during intraday trading on Thursday, showing significant upward momentum despite recent concerns about the company's financial outlook.

The price movement comes as investors weigh Roblox's strong first-quarter engagement metrics against its reduced revenue guidance. The company reported daily active users increased by 35% to 132 million, with bookings up 43% year-over-year to $1.7 billion and average monthly unique payers growing 52% to 31 million.

However, Roblox also cut its FY2026 adjusted revenue guidance to a range of $7.33 billion to $7.6 billion, down from the previous $8.28 billion to $8.55 billion range. The guidance reset has created what traders are calling "outlook risk," even as current usage metrics remain robust. CEO David Baszucki described the quarter as "another strong quarter of growth" as the platform continues to scale.
