AIMS APAC REIT Management Limited announced on May, 21 2026 that two wholly owned Australian subsidiaries of AIMS APAC REIT have entered into a syndicated facility agreement with two institutional banks for an unsecured loan of AUD115 million, equivalent to about 104.8 million Singapore dollars.
The proceeds will be used to refinance existing borrowings, cover related expenses, fund capital expenditure and provide general working capital.
The agreement includes mandatory prepayment provisions that would be triggered if Great World Financial Group Pty Ltd ceases to control at least 50.1 % of the manager’s issued share capital, or if the manager or its related entities stop managing AIMS APAC REIT without prior lender consent.
A breach of these conditions could require immediate repayment of the new facility and could trigger cross-defaults on approximately 513.9 million Singapore dollars of the REIT’s other outstanding debt. The manager said no such conditions have been breached and confirmed that Great World Financial Group Pty Ltd currently holds 100 % of the manager.
